I have really enjoyed my time at IBM I have not only developed my skills but have extended my network hugely and built some great relationships Im extremely glad I opted to take a placement
Good fun in general Didnt feel I had as much say in what I got to do as was implied prior to the placement

I definitely enjoyed my placement but I found I enjoyed it a lot more near the end as it became more evident to me how much I gained from it

Things can be difficult at a blue chip but the encouragement and training provided allowed me to adopt the IBM culture and become an IBMer I met royalty and had dinner with celebrities as well as working on innovative internal and external solutions
It was very enjoyable being able to put university knowledge to real life situations
I love this job Im in a technical rl so that caters to my interests
My first six months ere uneventful but after a change in manager I had lots of work to keep me busy in the next 8 months and really started to enjoy my work the low start is not common though I was just caught up in management changes
There was times throughout my placement where I was really really busy and other times where I felt I had nothing to do However working through both phases of work makes you come out stronger and learn what to do in a similar situation in the future
I was given lots of responsibility in my role and was really valued by my team My role went above and beyond what I would expect to do as an intern
My role was a new role and I had little contact with my manager so I found it hard to adapt but had a few good experiences towards the end of my year

Really enjoyed my placement everyone was friendly and welcoming and the company is very flexible on working hours which means you enjoy coming to work
