The International Travel & Partnerships team is responsible for winning and managing partnerships with companies such as Travel Agents, Tour Operators, international airlines, hotel groups, train operators, credit cards and loyalty companies through which we sell Avis and Budget car rental.

Global Travel & Partnerships Co-ordinator Placement
Our one year placement would be a very exciting if you are interested in developing a career within a Marketing or Commercial discipline as it encompasses a wide variety of different responsibilities. The role will provide the successful candidate an opportunity to improve on a number of different skill sets such as; customer, client and internal communication, event planning, copywriting, training and presentation skills, developing artwork within brand guidelines, e-commerce and market research skills.
You will have the opportunity to work internally across many different departments but will also gain exposure to some of our major partnership accounts including British Airways, Eurostar and American Express.
With this, you will be responsible for providing support to account managers across multiple partnerships. In return, you will be provided with the opportunity to shadow on client meetings and be given invaluable account management experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily management of partner microsites - content management system and HTML training will be provided
- Ownership of the Heathrow Terminal 5 Priority Rental Service email inbox, managing BA Gold Exec club queries and reservations
- Developing and managing team communications across the EMEA region
- Competitor intelligence data collection and distribution alongside market research into key industry trends
- Use of Adobe software to create artwork to support partnership marketing campaigns
- Ad Hoc projects as required
Strong organisation and communication skills are imperative to fulfil the requirements of this role. You must be confident and hard-working individual, with a ‘go the extra mile’ attitude.
Overview of additional benefits: Training, basic salary, retail discounts +25 days holiday
Ideally you will be working towards a degree in a Marketing or Business discipline. It is important to have sound technical / ecommerce understanding, whilst good Powerpoint, Excel and Photoshop skills are desirable.
