What will you do in this Virtual Experience Programme?
Attend a Client Meeting
Engage with colleagues, assist in a client meeting and create a file note to experience a day in the life of an Ashurst intern.
Conduct Research
Assess the benefits of Safe Harbour laws for our client in mitigating potential future claims and liabilities.
Research Planning & Preparation
Prepare a research strategy on a discreet legal issue regarding a joint venture contract negotiation
Commercial Negotiation Strategy
Identify the core commercial considerations for the client in a challenging joint venture.
Urgent Search Warrant Review
Your client is facing a surprise inspection by the ACCC (a dawn raid), urgently review the relevant search warrant.
Shadow an ACCC Investigation
Prepare a strategy to quickly respond in a situation where the ACCC may potentially be copying privileged information.
Substantiate Privilege
Prepare a summary of the possible privilege claims that may be available to the client.
Elevator Pitch
Create a good first impression by confidently engaging with your supervising Partner after your last day of the internship at Ashurst.
This programme is self-paced. It takes approximately 5-6 hours to complete.
