Consumer Relation Data Science Placement
Degree requirements: You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You may be expected to provide evidence from your university to show you will be an undergraduate student for the duration of the placement year and they are supportive of your placement.
Location(s): Greater London/Weybridge
Salary: £21,000-22,500

GSK Consumer Healthcare is currently preparing to become a standalone company by 2022, launching a new operating model supported by a clearly defined purpose, strategy and culture. Global Consumer Relations is taking this context as an opportunity to embark on a service transition programme with our newly selected strategic partner. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a global demerger while helping to drive an end-to-end transformation program within a strategically important function.
What will you do?
- Working with stakeholders at different levels across the business and geographical boundaries.
- Analysing CRMS (Consumer Relations Management System) “as-is” data structure and recommending improvement opportunities by working with relevant Business and Product stakeholders
- Collecting, analysing and presenting findings from various data sets, building in-depth insight into the needs of our consumers.
- Actively contribute to the evolution of the Data Strategy at GSK Consumer Relations.
- Deliver new solutions for analysing and visualizing data wherever appropriate leveraging Consumer Relations Product Infrastructure
- Educate Management Team (CEMs, Netizen Managers) on key Data to Insights concepts, tools and platforms
- Support CRDs to enable them to answer their business questions using Consumer contact data
- Support the delivery of projects including by assisting with research and analysis and making recommendations backed by data.
