About RMP Enterprise

Back in 2005, Ali Lindsay and Ollie Sidwell were two bright-eyed, career-hungry students at Loughborough University.

But they struggled to find placements. They realised students didn’t have access to the information or resources they needed to take the first few steps into a career.

So they launched RateMyPlacement.co.uk to support students following in their footsteps. Now, RMP is a team of 70 with 4 product lines, 400+ clients and our work reaches and supports millions of young people.

Our team brings together university, school and college students with employers. We connect talented young people with companies offering placements, internships and apprenticeships. Inspiring the next generation is our goal and is what gets us all out of bed in the morning.

The Climate Crisis is tethered to that goal. The future careers of young people depend on the future planet we create for them. Sustainability really matters to us. That’s why RMP has committed to going carbon net-zero by 2023.

RMP is also a founding partner of the Sustainable Recruitment Alliance (SRA), a partnership across our industry campaigning for sustainable recruitment processes.

We have a group of internal Diversity and Inclusion Champions to drive forward our ambitions of making work experience accessible to all young people, and of making sure every RMP employee feels a sense of belonging.

There couldn't be a better place to complete a placement. We're kind, supportive, flexible, inclusive and adventurous. We value each and every employee, and strive every day to make RMP an incredible place to work.
