Supply Chain Placement
Do you have a strong work ethic, independence, and excellent time management skills?
We are looking for a Supply Chain Undergraduate to join our team where you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in managing relationships with key suppliers. This exciting opportunity will teach you how to manage those relationships, become an expert in our field and give you a great foundation for a career in the automotive industry in the future. You’ll achieve this by providing support to the team for your placement year.
This is what your time at Volkswagen Financial Services might look like:
- Support the Supply team by collating and analysing supplier performance, populating a monthly senior management dashboard.
- Raise invoices to customers for services purchased
- Consolidate customer monthly bills
- Own the management of all telematics operational queries
- You will be the initial point of contact for a variety of stakeholders who have queries regarding the suppliers or the services from selected suppliers
About you:
- Currently pursuing any degree with skills transferable to the role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to manage relationships with stakeholder across the business
- Excellent organisational skills
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Microsoft skills, especially in Excel
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently

Here’s what our process looks like:
- Apply and upload your CV, covering letter and answer a few application questions.
- You’ll then be invited to complete a Situational Judgement Test. This is a short multiple-choice question set to understand how you may approach situations.
- If you pass this stage, you will be invited to complete an online video interview where you will have the opportunity to tell us more about yourself.
- If successful, your final step in the journey is to attend an assessment centre at our Milton Keynes office where you will take part in a group exercise, complete a short interview and deliver a presentation. You'll also meet some of our managers and our current Undergraduates to find out more about a placement year with us.
