Register Your Interest - Civil Engineer Graduate

In Civil Engineering, you will play a key role in providing support to the assistant and project engineer for site delivery. You will understand the scope of works and the quality control activities required to ensure compliant works, as well as the Mace temporary works procedure and safety procedures and assist in the implementation of these. Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining secondary control on the project from primary control
  • Providing dimensional control for main contractor works
  • Assisting with defined inspections to allow Mace verification of the works
  • Assisting with collating quality records
  • Reviewing design information and comparing with construction works to gain a practical understanding
  • Maintaining a personal site diary to capture and record activities
  • Developing working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Providing guidance and coaching to junior team members
  • You will also work towards gaining professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Engineers (ICE), fully funded and supported by us.
