IT Project Delivery Placement

Job Description:

This role will be based in London on an Hybrid working arrangement.

Working in a professional and friendly environment, will provide you the opportunity to gain practical experience in an IT Project Delivery role and will help build a strong foundation for success in your future. Throughout your twelve-month placement at MSD, you will be provided with the opportunity to support and improve our IT systems and processes as well as be provided opportunities to travel to other MSD sites. You will be part of a friendly, energetic, highly motivated, and collaborative team working on projects using leading edge IT technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyse business processes; understand why change is required in the business
• Gathering requirements from the business stakeholders and understanding prioritization
•  Creating documentation to store all information on the current process, requirements, prioritization, and solution
• Implementation of new IT systems in-line with business needs:
• Using internal applications and tools available to us within the Office 365 suite, for example, PowerBI and PowerApps, to implement new solutions that meet business requirements
• Provide technical expertise to introduce, implement and integrate new and existing systems to improve ways of working
• Opportunity to manage and deliver your own projects with guidance from your mentor
• Development and delivery of training packages to business users
• Opportunity to work in an agile environment to deliver business demands and drive business value
• Maintain compliance to our Company’s Corporate and Regulatory guidelines for IT systems:
• Application of our Company’s specific System Development Life Cycle to systems
• Production of accompanying documentation for the implementation of new systems

Requirements:

• You will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree
• Studying towards an IT related undergraduate degree
• Business Analysis skills (requirements gathering and translating into IT solutions)
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite and Power Platforms.
