IT Service Desk Analyst Placement

Job Description:

This role will be based in London on an Hybrid working arrangement.

Our Support Functions deliver services and makes recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities and Security. Our IT team operates as a business partner, proposing ideas and innovative solutions that enable new organizational capabilities – whilst supporting our colleagues with their IT related incidents and requests. We collaborate internationally to deliver the services and solutions that help everyone to be more productive and enable innovation.

Throughout your twelve-month placement, you will be provided with the opportunity to support, develop and improve our Infrastructure systems, services and processes and will also have the opportunities to travel to other sites across London.

Duties:

  • Resolve and Manage IT Support Requests:
  • Act as the face of IT and work as part of the Global End User Services family.
  • Use your technical knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills to remediate issues presented with Hardware/Software and other technology.
  • Be able to devise technical and creative solutions to user issues
  • Prepare detailed notes and reports for users through the steps they can take to resolve software and hardware issues
  • Involvement in key projects for continuous improvement of computing and network technologies on site
  • Identify opportunities and enhancements to local processes - devise and present solutions
  • Develop and manage internal IT communication tools
  • Create IT related content with AV Studio Manager for enhance end user learning experience.
  • Manage hardware/software upgrades and other new technology deployments
  • Opportunity to manage and deliver your own projects with guidance from your mentor
  • Ensuring all necessary training is completed and documented successfully
  • Maintain detailed records of user issues with software and hardware
  • Production of accompanying documentation for the implementation of new systems

Requirements:

  • You will be looking to complete a 12-month student internship as part of your undergraduate degree
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and component hot-swapping IT Hardware.
  • Proficient in supporting Microsoft Windows OS (Win10/Win11) and Apple iOS
  • Proficient in collaborating with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong focus towards Customer Service/Satisfaction
