Introduction to the Corporate Finance team at Evelyn Partners

In the Corporate Finance division, we work with entrepreneurial clients as they move through the lifecycle of their business. This can involve providing advice on options such as: funding, buying, growing, floating, and selling. Our client base is typically mid-market, and we often work with international strategic buyers as well as private equity investors. Our commitment is seen through our teamwork with clients, our entrepreneurial spirit, commercial acumen, and integrity. 

What will you be doing?

As part of our Corporate Finance team you will be assisting on a number of sell side or buy side mandates as well as with market research. You will be involved in supporting the team on multiple projects at various stages, from pitch, research and analysis, to marketing and buyer/target approaches. 

You may be involved in a variety of tasks, including desktop research, producing pitch deck, assisting with financial modelling, and participating on client calls. You will quickly gain exposure to a variety of businesses and industries, developing key knowledge and skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working as part of a team to undertake a variety of deal related tasks
  • Developing an understanding of our clients and their industries and business models
  • Keeping senior stakeholders informed of project updates 
  • Becoming familiar with our M&A software and processes
  • Prioritising tasks whilst meeting various deadlines

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Be available from 30th June – 8th August 2025
  • Be in your penultimate year of university
  • On course for at least a predicted 2:2 degree, in any discipline
  • A Level: Minimum 112 UCAS points in top three A Levels (or equivalent), excluding General Studies
  • GCSE: Minimum Grade 5 (or equivalent), in English Language and Maths respectively
