Position Overview:

As an intern at Provence Classics, you’ll work alongside our experienced team, immersing yourself in the dynamic environment of classic car rentals and restoration. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the ropes in a friendly environment, working on some of the most famous cars in history. From vehicle preparation, maintenance and repairs; to client interactions and support, this internship oFers a comprehensive look into the operations of a leading classic car rental company. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in Restoration Projects: Participate in various stages of vehicle restoration, from disassembly to reassembly. 
• Perform Maintenance Tasks: Help with routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and engine tuning. 
• Vehicle Preparation: Assist in preparing classic cars for rental, including cleaning, detailing, and ensuring all operational aspects are in top condition. 
• Customer Interaction: Engage with clients, introduce them to the features of their rental cars, and provide excellent customer service throughout their rental experience. 
• Workshop Support: Support the workshop team with parts replacement, tuning, and emergency repairs. 
• Delivery and Pick-Up: Help with the delivery and collection of vehicles, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for our clients. 
• Assistance in Operations: Support day-to-day operations, including handling bookings, managing inventory, and addressing any issues that arise. 

Requirements: 

• Passion for Classic Cars: Strong interest in classic cars and an understanding of their unique features. 
• Driving License: Clean and full driving license. 
• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic mechanical skills or experience is a plus. BEng or MEng studies preferred but not essential. 
• Strong Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with clients and team members professionally. 
• Attention to Detail: Precision and thoroughness in all tasks. 
• Enthusiasm to Learn: Eager to absorb knowledge and apply new skills. 
• Professionalism: Punctual, well-presented, and able to handle responsibilities with a high level of professionalism. 
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in both vehicle maintenance and customer service. 
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
