We are looking for an enthusiastic New Product & Change Management student to join our team specializing in Quality for our NPPD&I business unit in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 4th August 2025, this placement is 100% site-based.
External Qualifications and Competencies
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Involved with all aspects of engineering change management and introduction of new,
- unique and upgraded parts and products within the plant
- Prepare and present detailed department score cards for review on a monthly and quarterly basis to senior management
- Continuous collation of data attributed to the business using Oracle/Excel/Windchill
- Involved with all other departments at the plant to gain good knowledge and understanding of a global multinational organization
- Collaborating with external business functions to understand the entire new part introduction process
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying towards a bachelor’s degree from across all engineering / Supply chain or other related subjects
- Good PC literacy –MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) Knowledge of Windchill desirable but not essential
- Practical approach to support new parts and product introduction, ability to manage own projects
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, communication skills (verbal and written), time management and prioritization skills, proactive attitude
