Women In Business Insight Programme 2025

Programme Overview:

The Women in Business Insight Programme is designed to give talented female students the opportunity to explore various business areas within PwC, gain valuable industry insights, and build skills to accelerate their career in professional services.

This paid insight programme offers an immersive experience across PwC’s key service lines, including audit, tax, consulting, technology, actuarial, and economics consulting. Participants will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on exposure to real client work, participating in networking events, and receiving tailored mentorship from female leaders across PwC.

Areas of Specialisation:

Participants in the Women in Business Insight Programme will have the opportunity to explore a range of business areas, such as:

Audit and Assurance:

  • Gain exposure to PwC’s audit and digital audit services, helping clients ensure the accuracy of their financial reporting and navigate the complexities of today’s regulatory environment.
  • Work with cutting-edge technology to enhance audit delivery and provide clients with valuable insights.

Tax Services:

  • Work alongside experienced tax professionals, supporting clients with their tax compliance, advisory needs, and helping them navigate complex tax laws.
  • Experience the impact of tax in business strategy and learn how PwC helps clients manage their tax liabilities effectively.

Consulting (Management and Strategy):

  • Participate in management consulting and strategy projects, supporting clients in overcoming business challenges and improving operational efficiency.
  • Gain insights into Delivering Deal Value (DDV), helping clients with mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring to maximise deal outcomes.

Technology Consulting:

  • Work with clients to develop and implement innovative technology solutions to drive growth and efficiency.
  • Gain hands-on experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital transformation projects.

Actuarial and Risk Management Services (RMS):

  • Collaborate with our actuarial and risk management teams to provide financial modelling and risk analysis for clients in sectors such as insurance and pensions.
  • Help clients make data-driven decisions to manage risks and improve their long-term financial health.

Economics Consulting:

  • Apply economic analysis and financial modelling to help clients make informed business decisions.
  • Support projects across a variety of industries, including financial services, government, and health.

During the Women in Business Insight Programme, you will:

  • Receive guidance and support from PwC’s experienced female professionals, giving you insight into potential career paths and opportunities.
  • Participate in learning workshops and networking events with senior leaders, helping you gain a broader understanding of PwC’s service offerings.
  • Benefit from one-on-one mentorship and coaching, providing personalised advice on how to develop your career and succeed in a professional environment.

Who We're Looking For:

We’re seeking ambitious, motivated female students who are eager to learn more about PwC and what it takes to succeed in professional services. You should have:

  • A passion for business, consulting, technology, or finance, and a desire to explore how professional services can impact businesses and society.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both colleagues and clients.
  • A proactive attitude, with a willingness to take on new challenges and learn from experienced professionals.
  • A 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in any discipline (penultimate-year university students are encouraged to apply).
