Consulting Summer Internship
Programme Overview:
PwC’s Consulting Summer Internship provides a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts, helping clients solve their most complex business challenges. As part of PwC’s Consulting team, you will gain hands-on experience in management consulting, economic consulting, technology consulting, and deal advisory. You will work with a range of clients, including multinational corporations, government bodies, and public sector organisations, developing strategies and delivering solutions that drive results.
This internship will provide you with invaluable exposure to strategy, technology transformation, economic analysis, and delivering deal value. By the end of the internship, you will have gained a deeper understanding of the consulting industry and its role in helping businesses achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of PwC’s Consulting Summer Internship, you will:
- Management Consulting: Work with clients to assess their business processes and identify areas for improvement. You’ll assist with strategy development, operational optimisation, and change management initiatives.
- Economic Consulting: Apply economic and financial analysis to help clients navigate regulatory challenges, understand market dynamics, and improve operational performance.
- Technology Consulting: Support clients in driving digital transformation, leveraging emerging technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity to optimise business operations.
- Delivering Deal Value (DDV): Assist clients with managing the integration and operational improvements needed post-merger or acquisition, ensuring they extract maximum value from deals.
Training and Development:
Throughout the Consulting Summer Internship, PwC will provide:
- On-the-job training, focusing on consulting methodologies, strategy development, and industry best practices.
- Access to PwC’s learning and development resources, including workshops on project management, business strategy, and technology integration.
- Mentorship from PwC professionals who will guide you in developing both technical and leadership skills.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in consulting. To succeed in the Consulting Summer Internship, you should have:
- A strong academic background, working towards a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in business, economics, technology, finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions to business challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues in a team setting.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
- An interest in understanding how businesses operate and how consulting can drive value.
