Tax Summer Internship
Programme Overview:
PwC’s Tax Summer Internship offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the world of tax compliance and advisory services. As part of PwC’s Core Tax team, you’ll assist clients in managing their tax obligations while identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients, from multinational corporations to small businesses, helping them navigate complex tax laws.
This internship provides valuable exposure to corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT, and allows you to develop a deep understanding of the tax landscape across multiple industries. You’ll also gain practical skills in financial management, accounting, and business operations, preparing you for a successful career in tax advisory.
Key Responsibilities:
As part of PwC’s Tax Summer Internship, you will:
- Tax Compliance: Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure clients comply with local and international tax regulations.
- Tax Advisory: Provide advice on tax strategies to help clients manage their tax liabilities and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Corporate Tax: Work with clients on corporate tax matters, including tax planning, transfer pricing, and international tax issues.
- Personal Tax and VAT: Assist in preparing personal tax filings and provide VAT compliance services to clients across a range of industries.
Training and Development:
Throughout the Tax Summer Internship, PwC will offer:
- On-the-job training focused on tax compliance, financial reporting, and tax advisory services.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking motivated individuals who are interested in developing a career in tax. To succeed in the Tax Summer Internship, you should have:
- A strong academic background, working towards a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in tax laws, financial reporting, and business operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in teams.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
- An interest in understanding the complexities of tax compliance and how tax advisory services support business growth.
