Programme Overview:

PwC’s Tax Black Talent in Business Insight Programme is designed to introduce Black heritage students to the world of tax advisory and compliance. As part of PwC’s commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion, this programme provides an opportunity for participants to gain hands-on experience in Core Tax services, helping clients navigate the complexities of tax regulations, compliance, and risk management.

You’ll learn how PwC’s tax professionals advise businesses on structuring their operations to optimise tax efficiency while ensuring compliance with national and international regulations. This programme also focuses on how tax impacts broader business operations and decision-making, giving you a clear understanding of how tax advisory is a crucial part of PwC’s business services.

The Black Talent in Business Insight Programme is part of PwC’s initiative to nurture diverse talent and help Black students build successful careers in tax and business advisory.

What You’ll Do:

During the programme, you’ll work with PwC’s Core Tax teams, gaining practical exposure to a wide range of tax services. Key areas of focus include:

  • Tax compliance: Learn how PwC helps businesses comply with tax laws and regulations, ensuring that they meet their obligations effectively and efficiently.
  • Tax advisory: Gain insights into how PwC’s tax professionals advise clients on structuring their business operations to minimise tax risks and optimise tax outcomes.
  • Business operations: Understand how tax impacts financial planning, corporate restructuring, and other key business decisions.
  • Risk management: Learn how tax advisory helps businesses manage financial risks and ensure compliance with complex tax regulations.
