Programme Overview:

PwC’s Audit Black Talent in Business Insight Programme is designed to introduce Black heritage students to career opportunities within the audit profession. This programme offers a deep dive into PwC’s audit services, giving participants the chance to understand how audit plays a key role in ensuring transparency, trust, and accountability in financial reporting for businesses across a range of industries.

Participants will gain hands-on experience working with PwC’s Audit and Centre of Excellence teams, exploring how PwC’s auditors help clients comply with regulations, manage risks, and improve their financial reporting processes. The programme not only provides technical knowledge of auditing but also fosters an understanding of how digital transformation, data analytics, and technology are reshaping the audit function.

What You’ll Do:

During the programme, you’ll work with PwC’s Audit teams, gaining practical experience in the following areas:

  • Risk management: Understand how auditors identify and assess risks, helping businesses strengthen their financial systems and operations.
  • Data and digital audit: Experience how PwC integrates cutting-edge technology into the audit process, including data analytics and automation, to enhance the quality and efficiency of audits.
  • Centre of Excellence: Work with specialised teams focused on high-risk audits and complex financial reporting challenges, gaining insight into how PwC delivers value to clients facing significant financial and regulatory scrutiny.
