Internal Audit Graduate Trainee Programme

Our world-class graduate programme

As a graduate trainee in our Internal Audit programme, we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.

Over the course of this three-year programme, you can expect to: 

  • Quickly gain experience and insights into the financial services industry, products and operations
  • Learn from leading industry experts to build a deep understanding of our risk environment and the controls we use to mitigate those risks
  • Build a deep understanding of the changes happening across financial services
  • Help assess risks and controls, and undertaking testing, effectively contributing to continuous monitoring by analysing Mi/data or reviewing risk information
  • Work directly with stakeholders across the bank to improve their risk and control frameworks
  • Gain unique experience helping to deliverour audit plan and provide assurance to our Audit Committee
  • Support continuous risk monitoring and help to evolve our control framework
  • Tailor your experience by achieving a professional qualification relevant to your job.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for our Internal Audit graduate programme, you’ll need:

  • Tohave, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
  • Great listening and communication skills
  • A deep sense of integrity
  • To enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team
  • A rigorous approach to problem solving
  • Curiosity and an open mind
