Our world-class graduate programme

As a graduate trainee in Coutts Relationship Management, we’ll equip you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact throughout your career.

Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to: 

  • Achieve your own track record of success by undertaking various placements across the teams that support our relationship managers and within our relationship management teams
  • Quickly develop your relationship management expertise and commercial awareness
  • Work alongside Relationship Managers and Specialist Advisers to see how they work together to provide world class client experiences
  • Master a deep understanding of our services and specialist product knowledge
  • Collaborate with our Affluent business, which includes brands such as NatWest Premier and their Investment team
  • Gain unique, first-hand experience delivering relationship support and observing advice to support the diverse needs of our high-net-worth clients
  • Learn how to identify business development opportunities and digital solutions

How you’ll benefit

At the end of the programme, you’ll be well positioned to apply for a job as a Relationship Manager.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for our Coutts Relationship Management graduate programme, you’ll need:

  • To have, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
  • A strong customer focus
  • To be change ready and quick to adapt
  • A growth mindset and passion for learning
  • To enjoy collaborating and working as a team
  • Good problem-solving skills
