We are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Analyst to join our team specializing in IT Manufacturing within Cummins Business Services in Huddersfield, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 1 July 2025. The expectation will be for the successful candidate to be onsite Monday to Friday business hours to get the best experience, however, we have a flexible approach and hybrid working can be considered where appropriate.

External Qualifications and Competencies

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Maintain and Support existing business /IT systems.
  • Helping to identify and design business IT solutions.
  • Leading small projects or initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Engaging with customers across various business units.
  • Gaining opportunities to support on global projects.
  • Support Change and Process controls within ITIL methodologies.

Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Studying towards a degree in IT, Business or Project Management.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to learn, analyze, and understand business and technical processes.
  • Technical knowledge related to Windows operating systems for problem solving is desirable.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
