2025 International Graduate Programme

About The Programme

  • Programme Length: Two years
  • Programme Type: Rotational

The International Division develops the FCA’s strategy for engaging and influencing international organisations both in the EU and globally. The team is crucial to maintaining and enhancing our relationships with overseas regulators, governments, and other international stakeholders and enabling the FCA to operate effectively in a changing international environment. We also help to shape the global regulatory agenda and international policy, through our membership of international standard setting bodies.

This is a great opportunity to help shape our international strategy and ensure that the FCA delivers on its international objectives.

There are a variety of teams and roles within the International Division, and you’ll get the chance to work on a variety of projects. You will be expected to take on a certain amount of responsibility from day one, across a varied portfolio during your time in International. You will analyse regulatory developments in the UK and overseas, engage with internal and external stakeholders, research and draft briefings and presentations for a range of audiences and provide insight and advice across the FCA.

What We Look For

Our staff have diverse backgrounds, and no specific degree stands out as being essential. You will learn a lot on the job, so we don't expect you to already have a detailed knowledge of international regulatory matters. We're looking for somebody who is curious about financial services and regulation, have good analytical skills, take the initiative and a confident communicator.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

Learning & Development

As a graduate in International, you’ll have the opportunity to study towards an Apprenticeship, Professional Qualification or enrol on a development pathway relevant to your graduate programme. We will also give you the support you need to develop your career at the FCA.

What We Offer

We’re committed to making the FCA a great place to work. We do this by:

  • providing a rewarding environment, recognising that our people are motivated by meaningful work
  • maintaining a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, allowing people to develop and progress without barriers
  • looking after the well-being of our people, ensuring that they are safe and well and appropriately cared for
  • promoting an environment in which people are valued and respected

Beyond this, we offer all our graduates a competitive range of benefits, including:

  • Base salary of £36,000
  • Flexible working options
  • Private health care
  • Career and family leave
  • Non-contributory pension
  • Charity and volunteering initiatives
  • Minimum of 25 days’ holiday
  • Sports and social clubs
  • Subsidised on-site fitness centre (London only)
  • Free eye tests
  • Subsidised restaurant
  • Interest-free season ticket loans.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • We only accept ONE application per person for our 2025 programmes, therefore, please apply to your first-choice programme. Any additional applications will not be progressed.
  • Your application and any work you submit throughout the recruitment process must be all your own. You will not allow another person to complete any parts of the assessment nor submit responses provided or generated by an AI assistant or other similar software.
  • Applicants must have obtained or be on track to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree from any university.
  • Applicants for the 2025 graduate programmes must have graduated or be in their final year of study.
  • For the 2025 International Graduate Programme, submit your online application by Sunday 10th November 2024. However, we recruit on a rolling basis and therefore encourage early applications.
