Women in the workplace: PwC Newcastle open office event

Are you an undergraduate or recent graduate exploring career opportunities? Join us in Newcastle for an open office event at PwC, designed to highlight the importance of gender diversity in the workplace. Female talent is currently underrepresented in our industry, and whilst we had 45% of PwC’s 2024 graduate intake were female, there’s still work to be done.

This empowering event will provide you with the tools and insights you need to build your personal brand, boost your confidence, and explore what a career at PwC could look like for you. You will hear from female leaders in our business and have the opportunity to network with the women in our workplace. The event will feature roles and opportunities unique to this location, with a focus on Audit and Tax

What to expect:

  • Personal brand workshop: Learn how to craft and enhance your personal brand to stand out in the competitive job market.
  • Confidence building: Gain practical tips and strategies to bolster your confidence and present your best self in any professional setting.
  • Meet PwC people: Hear from a senior female employee on their career journey as well as their top tips for females in the early stages of their career. You’ll also have the opportunity to informally network with a range of PwC employees.
  • Recruitment insights: Discover the exciting opportunities available in the [location] office within our Audit and Tax Lines of Service and gain valuable insights into our recruitment process. We'll provide you with tips on navigating online assessments and acing interviews, ensuring you are well-prepared for success.

Who should attend:

This event is open to current university students, recent graduates, and postgraduates who are eager to start their careers with PwC. If you already have professional experience and are interested in joining PwC, please visit our Experienced Hire careers pages for more information.

This event is especially crafted to support and celebrate females, though everyone who wants to join in the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment is welcome to attend.

Work permits:

Due to recent UK Government changes to immigration rules there are increased limitations for non-UK students, meaning there are fewer roles that international students will be eligible for. We can offer sponsorship for some graduate roles and this is indicated in each job description, so please review ahead of making an application. We also strongly advise checking the availability of our roles and your eligibility before signing up to attend one of our events.
