People

At Centrica, we have a people team like no other. This graduate scheme offers you the opportunity to gain experience in a range of people-related roles, such as Employee Relations, Reward, and Business Partnering.

The programme consists of four 9-month placements over a 3-year period across our UK and Ireland offices so you must be flexible and willing to relocate during your placements. We provide a Welcome Bonus of £3,000 to help you do this. Our core sites are Windsor, Stockport, Leicester and various offices in Ireland. The team typically visit the office 1-2 days per week.

During your time on the scheme, we will give you exposure across the Centrica brands, exploring other disciplines of work including operations, customer services and our technical areas of work. We understand that everyone is an individual and that within the early years of a career opportunity and ambition changes as experience grows. Therefore, whilst we will prepare you for a world of work within a people discipline, there is also opportunity to become a leader across any of our areas within Centrica as you exit your time on the Graduate Scheme.

This is more than a career, the more you put in, the more opportunity will become available. Depending on your individual aspirations, development, and performance, there may be opportunities to study for additional professional qualifications, such as CIPD.

• Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters)
• Willing to relocate
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Available to start the programme on 30th September 2025
