ABOUT THE TEAM

This is an opportunity to gain experience in the UX/UI function, giving the candidate a much more in-depth knowledge of the creative and digital marketing areas of the commercial team.

The Commercial team supports the Unite Students in making driving budgeted top line revenue of over £580 million, ensuring that we have the correct products and price on the right channels attracting all of our segments to get the prefect blend of profitable income across our estate. This includes using data to drive decisions, having the right hallmarks and brand architecture to suit the needs of our students, creating demand through various marketing channels, and having our content displayed in the best way across our platforms. The team has a diverse capability cross-section covering all aspects of a customer’s commercial lifecycle. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

UX/UI Design – primary remit

  • Research, ideate and concept UX solutions working closely with Stakeholders
  • Assisting with research and user-testing
  • Translate concepts into; wireframes, mock-ups, designs and prototypes
  • Identify design problems and offer solutions
  • Test and iterate your designs
  • Develop knowledge of UX design skills and principles

KEY SKILLS NEEDED

  • Working towards a degree with a design focus
  • Strong digital skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Someone who is resourceful, eager to learn and enjoy solving problems
