Strong and growing portfolios in Haematology, Immunology and Specialty Care.
At Sobi, we are transforming life for people with rare diseases. As an international biopharmaceutical company, we provide access to innovative treatments in the areas of haematology, immunology and specialty care to improve people´s lives.
Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership, and Partnership.
These are the values we live by at Sobi. And we know that what we do daily transforms life for people with rare diseases. Working for Sobi means refusing to accept the status quo. We know we need to act, to ensure that more patients benefit from our therapies now and in the future.
Why do we focus on rare diseases?
There are an estimated 5,000-8,000 rare diseases in the world today affecting more than 400 million people. Yet only around 5 per cent of these have a cure. This is a hugely under-served area with great unmet medical needs. We specialise in rare diseases because this is where we can make the greatest difference to people’s lives.
We bring something rare to rare diseases – the strength of focus, the power of partnership, and the agility to innovate. We believe in the potential of the people we are dedicated to serving.
Our vision for Sobi is to be recognised as a global leader in providing innovative treatments that transform lives for individuals with rare diseases.
We are a relatively small team within the UK & Ireland, with around 60 employees working together to achieve our shared mission of transforming patients lives.
We are just starting our journey working within the early careers space and are passionate about contributing to developing future talent.
