As a graduate trainee in Risk Management, we’ll give you the best possible start to your career by equipping you with the knowledge, skills and experiences you’ll need to make a significant impact through your work.

Over the course of this two-year programme, you can expect to: 

  • Delve into the world of credit risk, oversight and challenge
  • Learn from industry experts and immediately apply your learnings
  • Understand how to identify, analyse and report risks
  • Work in areas like credit risk, financial crime, operational risk and compliance
  • Gain unique experience through a range of change and innovation projects
  • Discover how risk is managed in a dynamic financial institution
  • Shape our policies and determine risk appetites
  • Accelerate your capability by studying towards a professional qualification

We’ll reward you with a starting salary of £35,000 a year. If you join a team based in London, you’ll be awarded an additional allowance of £3,450 pro rata. And on top of your salary, you’ll also have access to our flexible benefits package.

At the end of the programme, you’ll be well positioned to secure a job as a Risk Partner, Conduct or Compliance Adviser, Operational Risk Manager, Financial Crime Specialist or Credit Risk Analyst.

Entry requirements

To be eligible for our Risk graduate programme, you’ll need:

  • Tohave, or be on course to achieving a 2:1 in your degree
  • A growth mindset and passion for learning
  • To be a keen problem solver
  • Good analytical skills
  • To enjoy collaborating and working as part of a team
  • The ability to think strategically
