BMW UK, Farnborough - Alphabet Customer Relationship Executive - 13 Month Placement (July 2025)

In the International & Major Fleet Partnership team we are responsible for a portfolio of our largest and most complex B2B (Business to Business) customers who have opted for outsourced fleet management.

The team look after a variety of duties that are driven around customer retention, growth, and loyalty. Our team are predominantly office-based understanding and supporting customers with their vehicle choices through quoting and ordering, In-Life requirements, providing industry leading support that is strengthened by Alphabets innovative products and services.

What awaits you?

  • Taking responsibility for all aspects of their day-to-day fleet management from implementation/on boarding of the customer through in-life support to drivers and customer contacts to managing end of contract renewals or returns.
  • Accept total ownership of the customer and represent them as their internal fleet specialist adapting to their ethos and policies. Become the customer specialist understanding all aspects of their fleet requirements.
  •  Build strong customer relationships across their business and act as a conduit with the rest of our business to ensure continued customer satisfaction and knowledge.
  •  Financial approval on customer’s behalf for vehicle orders, maintenance authorisation and pool car management vehicle repair costs.
  • Ensure customer fleet policy is implemented and followed in day-to-day practices within Alphabet while also ensuring driver awareness and adherence.
  • Adapt to bespoke processes for the customer’s fleet policy management and provide weekly updates/exception reporting to the customer main stakeholders.
  • Accountable for bespoke agreed service levels, ensuring service levels continually meet customer Service Level Agreements held within Master Hire Agreements to mitigate risk of any associated service credits for failing to meet.
  • The role may involve working independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving administrative services. Business administrators develop key skills and behaviours to support their own progression towards management responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Studying towards a National diploma - preferably in Business, Economics, Environmental, Customer Management or another relevant field.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills, demonstrating exceptional written and verbal communication.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt working approach, prioritise, work under pressure, multi-task and problem solve.
  • A trustworthy and self-motivated individual, who is an excellent team player.
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
