Office Management and Corporate Operations Placement

Role Summary 

EWM Global is a leading FinTech company supporting Financial Services companies around the world in the Digital Transformation of their Incentive Compensation administration. Our firm has an international reach operating out of London (England), Zurich (Switzerland) and Stamford, CT and Dallas, TX (United States) to serve our clients, which include some of the world’s largest banks, insurance companies and Private Capital firms. Our global reach is echoed in our growing and diverse workforce, where over 25 nationalities make up our 80+ strong global team.

We are looking for highly motivated, organized and reliable professionals to join our growing and diverse teams in Zurich (Switzerland) and London (United Kingdom), in the Office Management and Corporate Operations area. These positions will support the organization by providing first class administration support and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This is a role for a true team player who uses their initiative, has great attention to detail and works well under pressure, while maintaining a positive attitude. You will be exposed to senior stakeholders within the business, and if you can show initiative, you will gain a unique insight into the business world. This role has been an entry point for a number of our current directors.

Duties and Responsibilities 

Office Management 

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the office
  • Order office equipment, supplies, stationery & refreshments
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Assist with compiling and formatting PowerPoint presentations
  • Manage phone and mail correspondence
  • Coordinate meetings and company events
  • Coordinate international travel for staff
  • Ad hoc duties requested by Senior Management

Corporate Operations

  • Support with operational SOC 1 Audit (dependent on location)
  • Project research and assistance

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Work well in a self-directed environment and use initiative
  • Ability to take ownership of projects
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred

Who You Are

  • A second year undergraduate set to undertake a professional placement year in your third year at a British or Irish university.
  • Predicted 2:1 degree (2:1 in first year is a requirement) in any discipline, with a keen interest in business operations.
  • London: UK Citizen or European/International student with a valid work permit. 
  • Zurich: EU Passport Holder (required for Swiss working permit).
