Service Project Assistant Industrial Placement

Panasonic are market leaders in Air Conditioning in Europe and like many other markets the UK is one that has been constantly growing and developing. Unlike many other departments within Panasonic, we are a relatively small department and do a lot in-house; this will give you a fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of the business and most importantly put your mark on this expanding industry. As a vital member of the team, you will have the opportunity to keep customers up to date with the growing business and the constantly developing product ranges. You will be exposed to all different sectors within the Panasonic Air Conditioning team, from Sales and Marketing to understanding the nitty gritty of all things technical. You will never have a dull day in the office! 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Liaising with marketing department to support with effective implementation of marketing campaigns and projects across the service division, including liaising with design agencies to produce promotional documentation. 
  • Support the Project Manager with ensuring that work instructions are in accordance with Panasonic standards or appropriate local standard. 
  • Support the Project Manager to ensure sufficient understanding of service sales across the UK and Ireland teams. 
  • Ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely manner and all information is tracked and up to date on the system. 
  • Supporting, coordinating, and maintaining relationships with internal teams and external customers 
  • Organise trainings for internal teams, installers, ACS, KA, house builders, and social housing. 
  • Support in designing and implementing new processes within technical and service to consistently improve efficiency within the department. 
  • Supporting the rollout of the new Aquarea Service+ end-user maintenance project across the UK and Ireland
  • Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve service and warranty-related issues on air conditioning and heating products. Such as ordering spare parts and resolving warranty issues. 

Qualification & Experience

  • Currently studying for a Marketing / Business / Sales related degree at University
  • No specific experience or knowledge required.
  • We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude and who is pro-active, always bringing new ideas to the team to increase sales.
