Role Overview
As a Graduate IT Solutions Specialist in our Project Applications team, you'll work with applications from vendors such as Autodesk, Bentley, and Tekla, including tools like ProjectWise, Revit, Civil 3D, Infraworks, and MicroStation. Your role will involve supporting existing technology and workflows, assisting in the implementation of emerging technologies, and ensuring optimal service availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Support:
- Administer project information environments, including configuring templates and data sources.
- Ensure licence compliance and manage related processes.
- Develop workflows and rules for engineering applications to meet project and business requirements.
- Project Implementation:
- Participate in research and development of new services.
- Assist in upgrades and migrations to future application versions and services.
- Collaborate with application packaging, asset management, and service owners to deliver and deploy applications globally.
- Service Improvement:
- Act as a point of contact for related issues and implement service improvements.
- Assist in application testing through user acceptance testing.
- Create and maintain knowledge-based articles to the correct technical standard.
Who We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Graduates with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, obtained no earlier than 2023.
- Experience: Less than 12 months of relevant experience, excluding placements.
- Skills:
- Methodical problem-solving approach.
- Initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, data analytics, and business intelligence.
- Knowledge of engineering applications such as ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Infraworks, and MicroStation.
