Insights & Analytics Placement (2025)

The Insights & Analytics Placement at Hearst Networks EMEA offers you the opportunity to combine a love for media with a passion for data analysis. Starting in Summer 2025, this placement helps students develop the skills necessary to analyze and interpret data, informing content strategies and business decisions across the organization.

What the role entails:

  • Data Collection and Analysis: Analyze performance metrics from various platforms, including streaming services, social media, and video-on-demand.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Build detailed dashboards and reports to showcase audience behaviors and trends, enabling key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with departments such as Marketing, Programming, and PR to provide actionable insights that influence campaigns and strategies.
  • Content Optimization: Use data to assess what content resonates with audiences, helping shape future programming.

Eligibility:

  • For Sandwich-Year Students: Open to students on a degree program that includes a placement year.
  • Placement Dates: Summer 2025 for a year, returning to university in August 2026. This role will be based in the London Hammersmith office, working 2 days from the office, with the option to work 3 days a week from home.
