On-Air Planning Placement (2025)
The Planning Placement at Hearst Networks EMEA is an excellent opportunity for students eager to delve into the world of media, broadcasting, and creative TV scheduling. This placement year program, starting in Summer 2025, immerses students in the operational and creative aspects of broadcasting while equipping them with the skills needed to succeed in the fast-paced media industry.
What the role entails:
- TV Scheduling and Planning: You will create and manage daily TV schedules, ensuring that all programming aligns with channel objectives and engages the target audience effectively.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with voiceover artists, graphic designers, and promotional teams to develop on-air content that enhances the viewing experience.
- Operational Support: Help maintain the smooth functioning of broadcasting by troubleshooting issues and ensuring compliance with branding guidelines.
- Promotional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to integrate promotional material into schedules, maximizing viewer engagement and promotional effectiveness.
