Role Overview
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer in our Building Services team, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to design and implement cost-effective, sustainable solutions across various sectors, including transport, utilities, energy, and public and private developments. Your role will involve delivering functional design solutions that ensure buildings and systems perform efficiently, addressing the challenges of increasing social needs and the imperative to reduce carbon emissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Excellence:
- Design and implement electrical systems that enhance building performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions for complex projects.
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical technology and industry standards.
- Project Delivery:
- Contribute to the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Participate in site inspections and assessments to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Professional Development:
- Work towards gaining chartered status with support from a dedicated mentor.

Who We're Looking For
- Qualifications: Graduates with a bachelor's degree (level 8) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline, obtained no earlier than 2023.
- Experience: Less than 12 months of relevant experience, excluding placements.
- Skills:
- Methodical problem-solving approach.
- Initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards technical challenges.

Across our many offices in the UK and Ireland, we offer two types of placement programme: summer placement (8-12 weeks) and industrial placement (6-12 months).
