Role Overview

As a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Water team, you'll work on a variety of projects aimed at improving water systems, including water processing, pipelines, and drainage. Your role will involve designing sustainable solutions that address the challenges of climate change and urban development, contributing to the creation of resilient communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Excellence:
• Design and develop water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, drainage systems, and treatment facilities.
• Utilise digital modelling tools to create efficient and sustainable designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Project Delivery:
• Participate in all project phases, from feasibility studies to detailed design and construction supervision.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Professional Development:
• Work towards gaining chartered status with support from a dedicated mentor.
• Participate in the 'Accelerate Your Future' programme, focusing on developing essential soft skills and networking with peers.

Who We're Looking For

• Qualifications: Graduates with a bachelor's degree (level 8) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, obtained no earlier than 2023.
• Experience: Less than 12 months of relevant experience, excluding placements.
• Skills:
• Methodical problem-solving approach.
• Initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards technical challenges.
