European Logistics Placement

The Role

The European Logistics Intern will support the European Logistics Team with driving warehouse efficiency by ensuring the accurate and timely administration and management of logistical documentation and providing support to the logistic operation function.

The European Logistics Intern’s placement will be split into three main areas:

• Stock Control Department (both domestic & international functions)
• UK Customer Fulfilment Team
• International Logistics Team & Import/Export
• European Import/Export Compliance

Responsibilities

• Using SAP to drive warehouse efficiency.
• Require analysing data for ongoing warehouse projects and integrations.
• Support fulfilment functions to ensure service KPIs are met.
• Create and maintain working procedures in line with new processes.

Education and Prior Work Experience Required

Be an undergraduate/postgraduate ideally in Business Studies or a related subject

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to demonstrate a “can do” attitude and desire to continuously improve.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Have an enquiring mind.
• Be competent in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Having work on ERP/MRP software will be an advantage

Health & Safety

• To ensure that they are aware of, understand and follow all Company Health & Safety instructions - accident/incident reporting, first aid etc.
• To report any accidents or near misses to the Production Manager and/or Health & Safety Officer and/or Health, Safety & Environment Officer
