Undergraduate - Business Management – Customer Experience

At Honda we embrace inclusion in our various policies, so whilst our contracts state that the hours are as required to fulfil the role with a minimum of 35 hours per week, we offer flexibility for when you work. The regular office hours are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday with a half hour lunch break & 08:00 – 13:00 on a Friday. However, we offer flexibility of when you work with our daily flex-time start of between 07:00 and 11:00 providing that there is no business requirement.

Whilst there is no contractual right to work from home, the flexibility we offer is that you can request to work from home for a maximum of 50% of the working days in any one month, again providing there is no business requirement to attend the office.

Role: 

Honda Motor Europe provides a service to 17 countries across Europe for our Cars, Motorcycles and Power Products. One of our key global objectives is to provide the best customer experience through our European dealer networks and this role is at the heart of driving excellence for our customers.

  • Compliments any Business Management degree or similar.
  • Operational support and involvement in key projects.
  • Implementing improvements that not only change the business but enhance our customers’ experience with Honda.
  • Visiting our markets and dealers to complete situational analysis.
  • Opportunity to present data, proposals and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

Whilst this is an office-based role, there may also be the opportunity to visit other European offices and dealers within their local networks.  

Main Responsibilities: 

The Honda Customer Satisfaction Index (H-CSI) measures the in-dealership experience via regular surveys sent to customers after purchase or servicing, including our new online purchase process.  

The role will support the Customer Experience Manager to:

  • Promote the importance of Customer Experience within the wider Honda organisation.
  • Undertake regular reporting to analyse performance and data trends over time.
  • Provide operational support the Supplier and colleagues in the 17 local markets.
  • Generate and implement new ideas to solve problems.
  • Project activity support to ensure smooth implementation of new and existing initiatives.
  • Present to audiences of different levels and sizes.
  • Outside of the role there are opportunities: 
  • To be involved with Honda sponsored events.
  • To collaborate with other Undergraduates across the broader business.

Qualifications, skills and experience: Required/Desirable

Required

  • Must be an undergraduate, undertaking a business-related degree.
  • Organised with ability to multi-task different priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Willing to work in a team and with colleagues from other cultures.
  • Interest in data analysis.

Desirable 

  • Proficient in MS Office packages to include PowerPoint and Excel, although training given.
  • Experience in a customer-focused role.
  • Ability and willingness to travel in UK & Europe as required.
