Role Overview

In this exciting and varied position, you’ll actively support innovative UK and European TOUGHBOOK marketing initiatives, including organising and attending industry events, crafting engaging social media content, and designing impactful email communications.

As our European Marketing Assistant, you’ll build and nurture strong relationships with the UK and Ireland sales team, as well as with our Partner Account Managers (PAMs) across Europe, to drive successful regional campaigns and engagement programmes.

You will take the reins on our social media calendar on Facebook and LinkedIn, with your creative eye for detail to bring our brand’s voice to life.

Boost engagement with our European Partner Portal by creating informative emails and resource pages. You’ll also have a direct impact on the look and feel of our European partner and vertical end-user campaigns.

Provide essential support to the UK & Ireland team by managing marketing leads, ensuring follow-up and supporting team members during key events to enhance brand visibility and customer relationships.

Dive into campaign and partner programme performance, with the opportunity to showcase your skills in reporting and data analysis. Managing our Marketing Development Funds will also be in your hands, so being familiar with Excel would be beneficial. Training will be provided for required business systems.

How you will become part of the bigger picture....

As part of our team you will provide support in tasks including:

• Creating and copywriting of social media content
• Managing marketing leads for UK and Ireland
• Overseeing Marketing Development Fund (MDF) requests and claims
• Maintaining and updating content in the European Partner Portal
• Editing quarterly Partner Podcast episodes
• Developing and executing EU channel partner and local marketing campaigns and incentives
• Supporting at events and exhibitions for channel partners and end users
• Creating PowerPoint and Excel presentations for meetings
• Crafting emails in the Zift partner portal and Marketo marketing automation system
• Coordinating the recruitment of the replacement Industrial Placement student
• Continuously grow and focus on personal development using the Panasonic Leadership Principles Panasonic Leadership Principles - Panasonic Holdings

What you will bring to the picture....

• Working towards a degree in a Marketing- or Business-related subject.
• Good English oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to confidently deliver quality presentations.
• High attention to detail, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
• Hard-working, dedicated and self-motivated, with a focus on continual improvement.
• Ability to work autonomously and on own initiative, but also be a team player.
• Integrity and honesty
• Flexibility as business travel may be required
• A valid passport for international travel

What would give you the edge....

• Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Digital marketing – social media, email marketing, marketing automation etc.
• Creative tools – e.g. photo editing software (Canva, Photoshop etc.), Video and audio editing software (Premiere Pro, etc.). Training on a range of programs will be provided by Panasonic.
• Customer service
• Additional European language
• A Full UK Driving Licence

What we offer :

• Salary range: £24,600 per annum
• Annual Bonus
• Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Contract Type: Fixed Term 13 month contract
• Hours: 37.5 Full-time
• Location: Bracknell
• Hybrid working – with the expectation to work from the office a minimum of 2 / 3 days a week
• Travel Requirements: Will be required to attend UK and EU exhibitions, events and meetings.
