How you will become part of the bigger picture....

As part of our team you will provide support in tasks including:

• Keeping track of sales and forecasts, updating weekly reports for major customers and gain an understanding of forecasts and market data.
• Collaborate with Brand Comms and creative agencies to design captivating in-store and event product displays that elevate brand presence.
• Manage Product Sample Stock by coordinating global deliveries and collections whilst supporting Brand Comms and PR by dispatching samples to influencers, press, and events.
• Complete New Line forms for retailers and create carousels with compelling copy, while updating web content to creatively shape how our products are marketed online.
• Raise Manual Purchase Orders and adjust prices for promotions when needed to support both the Accounts Manager and Line Manager.
• Assist in various promotional activities and Trade/PR events, with the potential to attend photoshoots and manage set lists.
• Source promotional content to resize and edit using Photoshop.
• Proofread and approve packaging and marketing materials for English speaking countries.
• Potential to lead your own projects and focus on areas of the business that are of particular interest to you personally.
• Bring potential new ideas and insights into the team, on both the market and product.
• Gain an insight into Business Planning and marketing plans. Through regular Business Plan and Purchase, Sales, and Inventory central team meetings.
• Coordinate and lead the recruitment process for the next placement student, including creating job descriptions, reviewing applications, and assisting in interviews to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in the role.
• Regular communication with different internal departments including Sales, Brand Communications, Personal Relations, Logistics and Finance & Planning and Insight Management to share information on marketing activities.

What you will bring to the picture....

• Must be a university student with an industrial placement year, where this experience would be beneficial to your course.
• We are looking for candidates who are open minded, self-motivated, and creative, to bring unique ideas to the Personal Care Marketing team at Panasonic UK.
• Demonstrate proactivity in the workplace by utilizing strong self-initiative to complete tasks independently, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Management of responsibilities and ability to take full ownership of daily tasks with a flexible approach.
• Good time-management and the ability to prioritise workload in an organised fashion.
• Problem-solving ability that will enable you to develop innovative solutions for any kind of barriers or administrative issues that arise.
• An interest in commercial marketing or consumer electronics will help you succeed in the Personal Care Category
• Team player and ability to work in harmony with the rest of the group, having a friendly and approachable presence.

What would give you the edge....

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 e.g. Excel, Teams, Outlook & PowerPoint
• Experience using key social media platforms
• Knowledge of Photoshop
• Modern marketing knowledge 

Panasonic offers a comprehensive training package and a 1-month handover period with the current student, ensuring a smooth transition and in-depth understanding of the role.

What we offer :

• Salary range: £24,600 per annum
• Annual Bonus
• Annual Leave: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Contract Type: Fixed Term 13 month contract
• Hours: 37.5 Full-time
• Location: Bracknell
• Hybrid working – with the expectation to work from the office a minimum of 2 / 3 days a week
• Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required
