UKIMEA Programmes Internship
We are looking for a high caliber candidate to join our UKIMEA (UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa) MD Office as Programmes Intern.
During the 13-month communications placement, you will be reporting to the office of the MD for UKIMEA at Hewlett Packard Enterprise based in the UK and will work closely with other members in the team.
Key tasks will be to drive digital and written communications assets. You will be exposed to a demanding role, which offers a valuable insight into the communications profession as a whole in a broad international team. You will be collaborating with HPE Resource Groups and Site Leaders to drive Employee engagement, overlooking budget and event coordination, and aligning communication between stakeholders. There will be a focus on Customer engagement programs, their development, and tracking.
What You'll Do:
End-to-end production of internal videosExperience in the use of various Adobe software to create clear and branded communicationsCreation of a company magazine, posters, slide decks, and newsletters to promote events, projects, company strategy, and initiatives to a wide audience of employeesAn opportunity to develop both professional and technical skillsExposure to senior leadership and collaboration widely across the organizationReviewing, editing, and creating various communications contentMaintaining fresh and accurate content for key intranet sitesLearning to become brand-savvyTracking and overseeing budgetsCoordinating end-to-end eventsStrategic planning for events in place and in developmentUsing an analytical approach, provide valuable feedback, thoughts, and opinions
This is a fantastic opportunity for an intern student to take accountability and prove themselves as a strong team member and individual.
The Technology:
Experience or knowledge of video production and/or the use of Adobe software including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premier ProAbility to use the Microsoft Office package to a high standard (particularly Excel & PowerPoint)

What You’ll Need:
Potential interns must be in their 2nd year of a four-year degree which requires (or has an option for) 3rd year to be a one year's industrial placement, and are expected to achieve a minimum of a 2:1 gradePlacement applicants should ideally come from degree courses focused on communications/business management/graphic design/film production preferredYou must be eligible to work in the UK and be available to commence the placement at the beginning of July 2025 for 13 months
