Role:
Honda Motor Europe provides a service to 40 countries across Europe for our Cars, Motorcycles and Power Products, with Honda Motor Europe branches in 17 of those countries.
The Customer Division is made up of a variety of teams that support the business with improving the customer’s experience, moving the services we provide to our customers onto digital platforms, the publication of our product documentation and ensuring the safety of our customers through product recall.
We have four placement opportunities within our Customer Division offering you industry experience working within a European Head Office of a global brand. With a vision to realise carbon neutrality by 2050 and support the electrification of the experience the customer has from an Aftersales perspective; this is an exciting time to be part of Honda’s Customer Division and say you were part of that change.
The experience:
- Complements any Business Management degree or similar.
- Team working and adding value to the department.
- Supporting the department with key business projects.
- Implementing improvements that not only change the business but improve our customers experience with Honda.
- Opportunity to visit our branches in Europe, dealers, and logistics centres.
- Speaking to our colleagues in Honda Japan and in Europe, as well as 3rd party suppliers.
- Learn business practices and planning techniques and tools that can be utilised in any future career.
- Opportunity to present to various stakeholders, ranging from your peers to senior management in both Europe and Japan.
Main Responsibilities:
- Learn about all three product areas – Automobile, Motorcycles & Power Products
- Visit our other Honda sites and communicate with Japan and our European branches.
- Develop and implement strategies that will improve our customer’s aftersales experience.
- Research and analyse data and information then present your findings and recommendations for improvements.
- Generate new ideas to solve problems then implement them at test stage through to roll out.
- Project support and leading programme implementation, including preparing business case proposals, creating project documents and reports, preparing progress reports, and creating action plans.
- Collaborating with multiple teams across the business, issuing data, reporting, and improving the performance in the Division through project work.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Required
- Proficient in MS Office packages to include PowerPoint and Excel.
- Capable of balancing tasks to achieve set deadlines.
- Proactive approach to motivate yourself to deliver ideas and improvements that make a difference to Honda.
- Willingness to work in a team and collaborate on projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised with ability to multi-task different priorities effectively.
Desirable
- Good Data Analysis skills.
- Experience in a customer focused role.
- Ability and willingness to travel in UK & Europe as required.
