You will work on one of the most exciting and significant sustainable energy projects that our country has ever seen, being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy. Sizewell C is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk. When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for at least 60 years.

SZC Project Controls will serve as a centre of excellence, managing and strategically using delivery performance management information. Our team enables successful delivery of SZC Project through proactive Project Controls that drives forward-looking solutions to continuously improve performance.

You’ll embark on a 2-year programme where you can kick start your career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference, then come join our new Sizewell C Graduate Programme. You will work on one of the most exciting and largest megaprojects in the world, whilst being at the forefront of the UK’s climate change agenda and energy policy.

You will be based in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week in the London or Leiston offices with travel required to both.

What we’re looking for

  • 2:1 or above in Engineering, Construction, Business or Project Management is desired
  • A genuine interest in the energy industry and a passion for sustainability and being a part of making a difference
  • We will need you to be open minded, flexible and have an agile way of thinking to succeed in a dynamic fast paced project environment
  • Having a strategic mindset that brings innovative ideas
  • Effective interpersonal skills are key, as well as being able to demonstrate high ethical behaviour, integrity, humility, and character
  • Effective communication skills will be required to manage your stakeholders whilst prioritising competing demands

Sizewell C Limited (Sizewell C) is nuclear site licensed company whose business is to design, finance, construct, commission, operate, maintain, and eventually decommission the nuclear power plant and related infrastructure at Sizewell C in Suffolk. Sizewell C was formerly under the majority ownership of the EDF Group but is currently majority owned by HM Government and operates as an independent company. EDF remains a key shareholder in Sizewell C and the business therefore maintains close links to EDF as a part of its ‘nuclear family’.
