We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Supply Chain business unit in Huddersfield. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 14th July 2025.
External Qualifications and Competencies
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Updating and Publication of Global Scorecards and Metrics on behalf of the business
- Ensure Metrics are accurately tracked to enable continuous improvement within the organization
- Working with Global Project Teams, Material Planning, Demand Management, Account Management and Purchasing to trouble shoot and document improvement initiatives
- Involvement and support in creating, maintaining and potentially leading supply chain projects across multiple sites across the business
- Manipulating and using data to establish the basis for actions
- Gather material and chase actions for the Global Supply and Demand Review
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- We are looking for a wide range of applicants studying across a broad range of degrees which could include Business, Supply Chain and Logistics
- A good level of Microsoft skills including Excel and PowerPoint are required, Power BI would also be advantageous although is not essential
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills in order to work with colleagues from different time zones and cultural backgrounds
- Willingness to learn and solve problems
