The Role
Well structured and a nice mix between social events and actual office work.
I was given some great work and treated like a real employee.
Most of our support came from the trainees, who were hugely helpful and gave us most of our work.
We had work most of the time, and when we didn't we had a business project to work on so we were never left twiddling our thumbs.
For the most part, we were given the work of trainees with the same responsibility.
The time management skills picked up in balancing the business project, the socials and the office work will be invaluable.
The Company
As an open plan office everyone was willing to chat and I never felt intimidated approaching a partner.
Very well structured. We were given a timetable at the beginning and it was kept to throughout the scheme without exception.
It felt more like the first two weeks of a job than work experience and we were invited to training sessions both for us specifically as well as the more general ones.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Very, it's just a matter of whether they'll employ me!
The Culture
We were busy with our project most of the time, but they were a good bunch and everyone turned up to the socials
Based in central London, the accommodation and food etc was unavoidably expensive.
The bars nearby are good and you can get anywhere in London easily.
The firm was open to brining summer scheme students to sports events etc.
