The Role
Couldnt of asked for a better line manager. Good banter but also very switched on and well respected within the business. The senior management even going up to the sales director were also friendly and approachable.
Some days were pretty hectic and involved working late, others were fairly chilled out. Always had work to do, just some required greater urgency than others.
A year in this company will give you a flatform to build on communication, organisation and commercial awareness skills. That along with the general understanding of what is required in a corporate environment will give a massive advantage in final year vs people who havent done the placement year.

great year but not sure the fmcg industry is something i'd want to do long term.
The Culture
By chance 5 friends also had the job at j&j so we were always going to have a good time. That aside still thought the nighlife was decent enough to keep us occupied. You have the choice of student nights in reading or the 25 minute train into london.
