The Role
I really enjoyed my internship. I worked on a project with 7 other interns, and we worked well together and got a lot done.
Even though I was an intern, it didn't feel like I was viewed beneath anyone else, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
I started my internship with two weeks of training, which had good supervision from 2 supervisors. They also took on feedback of how to improve the training program in future, which was implemented with the next set of trainees.
I was kept fairly busy with work, but I was always able to take time out in the chillout room when I needed it.
I was given a fair amount of responsibility. I spent most of my time working by myself on a part of the project that was essential to it, but help was always available when I needed it.
The skills I have learned will definitely help in the future, and the coding skills I have learned will help me in future projects.
The Company
The atmosphere was very chilled out, even though there was a lot of work going on. There was a dedicated room to take time out and get a snack whenever you needed it. There's also plenty of social events outside of work.
It was well set up, I had contact via email in the months leading up to it, and was put straight on a training program when I arrived.
We had two weeks of dedicated training at the start and also frequent talks on how to improve our code. We also had all of our code reviewed, so we knew how to improve in the future.

Working from home
I will definitely consider a job here in the future.
The Culture
I worked on a project with a group of interns, and we all got on really well.
Although the internship was in London, I managed to find a flat somewhat far away that was very cheap.
There were frequent social events which were available to everyone in the company.
