The Role
I really enjoyed my time at BDO Stoy Hayward, and hope to come back as a graduate.
Everyone was really friendly and it was easy to approach anyone to ask a question, or to ask for work.
Especially when I was out on-site everything was explained to me and someone was always on hand to answer questions.
Some days in the office I had hardly anything to do, but generally it was just about right.
I was given the right amount of responsibilty for an intern I feel. This was especially true when out on audit, and I learnt a lot from that experience.
I learnt a lot during my time at BDO, and the training courses were particularly helpful.
The Company
It was sometimes too quiet in the office, but there was a really friendly atmosphere.
I was booked on 6 different companies but only ended up going out to half of them. The courses were run really well, and I got a good balance of time in and out of the office.
We had several workshops to improve out skills, and also went out to a client twice, which helped to developed client relationships.

I hope that I have secured a graduate placement!
The Culture
All the interns were really friendly. It was a pity all the other interns around the country only came to London a few times.
London is generally expensive, especially compered to university prices.
I generally spent my evening relaxing or meeting up with friends from university who were also in London, so didn't experience the nightlife that much.
The football tournament in Nottingham was a lot of fun and a good way to meet more people from the department.
