About You
Very much! It was an amazing week, all of us on the programme really got to know all areas of the business, and were really well looked after by the HR team.
Very valued! Was asked our opinions on campaign and felt like the team really took our opinions into account.
Enough support to learn new skills for the presentation aspect, not too much so we didn't learn anything.
Practice presentations and in depth feedback meant I feel much better prepared for an assessment centre/future career with Danone as I understand what they are looking for.
The Company
Very well structured - included many different activities. We started by analysing our energy profiles, attended a company briefing, spoke to employees in many business areas, had time to prepare for a presentation (including analysing real business data), presenting to a board of employees, and training for future Brand Ambassador role.
Really happy and friendly! Quite informal so we got to know the HR team well, and felt comfortable asking questions etc.
The insights evaluator we completed before the week was incredibly useful for the future in determining our own strengths and weaknesses, as well as learning how we work best and how to adapt when talking to people we may not naturally get along with.
Very helpful - we could also ask placement/graduate employees their opinions.
Very helpful - we saw all the offices, and the day-to-day culture. Also attended the company briefing with all employees which was an excellent insight to the company culture.
Really valuable - made me realise I really want to work in the FMCG industry (especially a company like Danone which is producing health products).
Everything Else
Very generous dinner allowance, in addition to paying for the Hilton DoubleTree Hotel for the duration of the week (including breakfast).
We met the HR team, 1-2 employees from each core area, and also spoke to a Sales employee while preparing for our presentation. This was plenty, and if there was something specific you wanted to know, the HR team were happy to pass on contact details to relevant employees if that is what you wanted.
Most of the time we finished around 4pm which meant we had the evenings free to socialise and network with the other Brand Ambassadors.
Employees can get involved in CSR activities, and it seems there are excellent benefits in terms of sport/active living too.
Definitely!
