  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Sometimes I didn't understand what was being done on other areas of the audit, but over time I came to know more and enjoy more.

  • I was comfortable with almost everyone and enjoyed the company of the other interns.

  • Lots - they were very keen to make sure we were getting the best out of it.

  • busy when out on site but quieter in the office, which gives you a break.

  • A substantial amount, although all work was reviewed before leaving the firm, you did things alone sometimes.

  • In graduate applications and accountancy jobs it really would.

  • very positive, everyone was quite fun.

  • there was some confusion over the project work.

  • alot - they sent us on course in London and spent a lot of time and money training us.

  • extremely, its a great firm.

  • yes, although not that many of us per office.

  • about average for the south

  • OK, although not brilliant.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • yes, there is a BDO national footbal tournament where eveeryone goes away for the weekend, which we were invited on.
