The Role
Besides the daily work with our team we also had to participate in the portfolio challenge with the other interns. Different presentations about the different divisions at Blackrock and other training seminars just for the investment interns were organize. Overall there was a good balance and I never got bored during the day. Just sometimes I had to stay a little bit late in order to finish everything.
The Company
It was very well organized. All the events organized by the HR were really interesting and fundamental in order to understand better the different divisions. Also the social events were really good to meet the other interns and get to know each other. The only thing not very clear was how we were evaluated by our team or member of divisions and what was really important to finally have the offer for the graduate program

The Culture
London is extremely expensive. I found an apartment 15 minutes by bus from work but I was paying a lot for what I had and I was sharing the room. Also going out after work is very expensive, especially if you go out for dinner but also if you want to have a simple drink.
There are a lot of nice pubs and bars in the area. Especially when is sunny is very nice having a drink outside a pub or going to some rooftops not far from the office. But in terms of nightclubs is not the best area. Best clubs are in different areas of London.
