The Role
Was hard work, long days but met alot of lovely people, found the challenges interesting and had fun.
The staff and assessors all seemed genuinely interested in us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, answered any questions you may have.
The assessors usually gave feedback on your performance in different tasks so you could improve and develop throughout the academy.
very busy! the days were plannedand packed with activities from 9am in the morning until dinner, however, we were all encouraged to network with staff and other people after dinner, didnt really get into bed til past midnight both evenings.
we werent dealing with any real situations so not much. however, the scenarios we were being presented with were all very relevant so helped to get a good understanding
PwC were very open and honest about how to do well in recruitment processes in the future, however, on a more personal level it definitely developed my confidence and presentation skills.
The Company
everyone was so enthusiastic and genuinely interested in what we were doing, everyone got involved and pulled their weight in group tasks. We did a treasure hunt style activity on the first night, and the dinners (with wine might i add) and after were very fun.
Incredibly well organised, we knew exactly where to be, when and what we were supposed to be doing. Both before and during the staff were excellent and very helpful!
All expenses paid, travel food and accommodation, three days in a lovely hotel. The amount of staff on hand to answer questions etc and meeting partners was good
Subsidised Canteen
